Ondo 2024: Deji Of Akure Kingdom And Others Traditional  Ruler Unanimously Endorsed  Gov Aiyedatiwa

The Chairman, Ondo State council of Obas and the paramount ruler of Akure Kingdom , Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo says monarchs in Ondo state have unanimously endorsed Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as their choice ahead of the Ondo APC primary election billed for 20th April 2024.

Oba Aladetoyinbo announced this when he received the Governor’s campaign entourage at his palace in Akure.

The Oba’s appreciated the governor for the numerous projects in Akure the state capital and the state in general during his few months in office as governor.

The Olujigba of Ijigba , Oba Luyi Olujimi offered special prayers for the governor’s success at the primary election.

Governor Aiyedatiwa thereafter moved to the popular M.K.O Democracy park were he met with APC members in Akure south local government and told them to vote him in the primary election.

Earlier at another campaign forum , the chairman council of Obas in Irele local government area and the monarch of Omi kingdom , Oba Olorunsola Ajiboye appealed for the construction of rural roads linking over one hundred and sixteen farms settlements in the area .

Oba Ajiboye while appreciating the effort of the governor for his developmental projects pleaded for improved security in the area to curb robberies to facilitate the return of the banking operations to the areas.

At the local government secretariat in Igbekebo, the Kalasue of Apoi land Oba Professor Sunday Amusehan and other monarchs in the area prayed for the success of the governor ahead of Saturdays primaries.

Responding, Governor Aiyedatiwa said his administration would not deprived the people of development projects.

The governor who was well received in the two local government areas however solicited the support of the monarchs in promoting peace in their domains
and as well support him for the primary election.
