Just in: Police Arrests Suspected Ritualist With Human Skulls In Ondo

Ondo State Police Command, has arrested one suspected Ritualist with human skulls along Isua Akoko, in Ondo State during the stop and search operation carried out by the officers of the command on duty.

During the presentation of  the Command” success stories that a man was arrested for being in possession of human Skull and parts of human body on the 19th June 2024, at about 800hours . He said the personnel attached to the Command on patrol at Isua, Ipinni point while performing rooting check flagged down a Nizan Saloon Car . According to the CP he said why the Vehicle was being searched, one of the passengers took to his heels and he had to be pursued and was later arrested. He said his loads he was traveling with was searched and eight dried human skulls, flesh suspected to be that of the human beings and charms were found wrapped inside polytine bag and concealed in a sack of garri he was traveling with. He said the said flesh parts would be send for a forensic analysis to know wether the parts is for human flesh parts or that of the animals. The suspect Yusuf ADINOHI (Male) aged 31 years started that he was one to supply the human parts to some herbalist. He also confess that this journey happens to be the third trip he would be making to delivered the human parts .The CP said investigation is ongoing to apprehend other conspirators. The commissioner uses the opportunity to inform the good people of Ondo State that they would continue to be acting upon the intelligence gathering and within the ambit of the Laws and that they would continue to Carr out their constitutional responsibility. He advised the people to partner with the police and other security Agencies in the state for peace to reign in our State .

Meanwhile, the Suspects, Yusuf ,ADINOHI aged 31 , who is from KoGI State admitted that it was his friend that connected him or introduce him to the evil business upon interrogation by the Pressmen. According to him, he said any time he bought the human parts from the person that introduced him to the evil business he would take them to Osun state in Osogbo. He said he used to sell the part thirty or thirty five thousand Naira and that he was just three months in the business and that he had made three times journey while he had sold about four human skulls in his first time trip, while second time three and the third time eight. He said it’s not all the meat in his possession are fresh human part, while some are Dog meat and heart which he bought at Ibilo in KoGI State from a man who is killing it every day for sales. When asked where was the source of the skulls coming from, Yusuf said his friends Ismaila (But don’t know his surname) used to exhumed them from the burial grounds and bring them to him to buy. He said he was into business of burying and selling of red oil and cashew nut before venture into this ugly business .
According to the suspect the business was not lucrative but because of the the 2m Naira he was asked to bring for the treatment of his mother that was illed was the reasons that made him ventured into the business when he was introduced to it by his friends. He explained that he was connected with a Herbalist of social media who he strike a deal with on how to make his red oil business boom but letter gets entangled with him and started selling human skulls to him

 

Crime; Police Parades Suspected Gangs of Armed Robbers In Ondo

Ondo State Commissioner of Police Abayomi Peter has paraded suspected gangs of armed Robbers who stole some of the Gas Station facilities and they were arrested at different locations.Disclosing this to Pressmen by the Commissioner of Police, Ondo State command, CP Abayomi Peter to the Pressmen while rolling out their success stories during this quarter, that a case of armed robbery was reported at Okuta Elerinla Division Akure when a gang of Robbers went to a Gas station was bugged but they were arrested through the intelligence gathering of the officers and men of the command .

The CP said one Uche Ornu, aged 44year (Male) , Ekene Okoye ,(Male) aged 22years and Celestine Eze (Male) aged 47 years . According to the CPS, the suspects confess directly to the involvement in the robbery attack that Gas plans facility which occured around one am (1:am) on the 25ft of April, 2024.

Similarly, the Commissioner said the suspects stole one Scanner Truck with registration number JJJ 701YE ,valued at 12million naira . Other materials stolen was 50 kg of empty Gas cylinders were equally stollen from that station or facility.

According to him, one constable sustained injury during the cost of the attacks. From the report gathered, the stolen Truck was driving to Lagos by one suspected Ekene Okoye , who later led the Detective to one Emmanuel Okigwe ,(Male) aged 45 years, qho bought the stolen Gas cylinders at the rate of thirty six thousand naira each. Totally about two million two hundred and sixty six thousand naira only.( 2,266,000,naira of which he paid into the account of Ogechugwu and Desmond Ojokor respectively.

The stollen scanner Truck, according to the Commissioner of Police, Abayomi Peter said I want to inform you that it has been recovered.in Benin City ,Edo State by the Police while all the 61-50kg empty Gas Cylinders were recovered from one Emmanuel Okigwe some where Oshodi Lagos. He said that other suspects like Fatty Okarfo that forms part of the robbery gang is facing investigation at the State CID in Benin.for his involvement in connection with another case of armed robbery. While effort is ongoing to arrest one Ezeego who is currently at large. He said when investigation is concluded, the suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution.
