The Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu — SAN has said that Nigeria is an Africa whether they like it or not.He disclosed this when he was addressing the entrepreneur at the International Cultural Enent Center- The Dome. He said that statistics reviewed that most entrepreneurs women in the world are from Nigeria. He however, advised the Youths to continue using their talents to create an enabling environment for themselves in order to succeed in their business. He asked them to summon up courage for the purpose of making their business succeed.
The Governor, who spoke on the security said that the government would do their best to make sure that the environment is secured for everybody in the state for them to do their business. He said security is key and because of the Amotekun today together with other Security agencies in the state, everyone can now do their business with ease. According to him, he said some of the farmers had resumed back to their farm for farming.
He also talked about the education , that the curriculum had been redefined as students had been compelled to take an entrepreneural skills along his or her academic before they graduate from the school. He also encouraged the people to made use of their phone to fight crime by recording crime and upload them on the state website www.ondoeyes.ng for the security to take action.
He also said that ten lucky entrepreneurs would be going home with a business grants and a business trip tour abroad for their business for the purpose of expanding their horizon. He said Ondo would launch a site www.Ondomarket.com for all the entrepreneural to upload their goods for people to buy around the world. He employed the people to made use of the platform for their benefit. Mr Governor, who appreciates the participants , said that Ondo State is trying to build a super city for all business to thrive as a trial would convinced you.
