The new members under the leadership of Risikatu Gboyega were advised by the PDP chairman Tola Alabere to always cooperate with  their candidate. He said they should go and registered their membership with the secretary of the party. He Admonished them not  to cast their votes to other party apart from their candidate who is Agboola Ajayi.

Those decamped were from Akure ward four, three , seven and host of others. They all pledged their unalloyed support to the People’s Democratic Party-PDP. They also urged the party leadership not to see them like illiterate as most of them were very intelligent even though they didn’t have former education but they could contribute their own quota to the development of the party by way of mobilizing and voting for their party candidate in the forth coming election in the state.
