*ONDO NOA CALLS FOR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION EXERCISE*

The Ondo State National Orientation Agency (NOA) has called on Residents of the State to actively participate in this month environmental sanitation exercise slated for tomorrow Saturday 29th Oct 2022 between 7AM and 10AM.

This was contained in a Press Statement released from the office of the Ondo NOA Director Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu through the Agency Public Relation Officer on Friday in Akure urging all residents to come out en masse and clean up their surroundings to prevent total breakdown of environmental hazards .

The NOA Director described the present challenges of flooding in some part of the Nation as human negligence which is preventable if residents take to strict compliance of environmental warning.

She therefore advised residents of the state to avoid dumping of refuse along water ways and always clear the bushes around them.
Mrs Adefolalu warned those who are in habit of contravening the environmental extant laws to desist as anyone caught shall be dealt with accordingly.
