*Unrealizable Promise by a Failed Government: Aiyedatiwa’s Deceptive Moonlight Tale
The recent grandiose promise by Governor Aiyedatiwa to construct an overhead bridge and dualize roads in Akoko is nothing more than a tale by moonlight, one crafted to deceive and distract the good people of Ondo State.
As the gubernatorial election looms, this empty declaration raises critical questions: How many cars are in Akoko to warrant such an elephant project? Is this what the people truly need or desire?
With due respect, Akoko deserves projects of substance—tangible developments that directly improve the lives of its people, not this hollow, politically-motivated scheme that reeks of desperation.
History has shown that such projects by the Aiyedatiwa-led APC administration often end up as abandoned sites, wasted resources, and broken promises. The reality is that this ill-conceived promise comes less than 33 days before the election, a clear attempt to deceive the electorate, lure them into voting for another four years of suffering, and thereafter abandon them once again.
If Governor Aiyedatiwa and the APC had anything meaningful to offer, they would have done so long before now. True leadership prioritizes immediate, impactful development initiating projects that are relevant, beneficial, and sustainable, not pursuing lofty schemes for political gain.
Akoko and indeed Ondo State deserve better than this last-minute attempt to salvage a government that has failed on all fronts.
The time has come for the people of Ondo State to reject these unrealistic promises and opt for genuine progress. A vote for Agbo-Fessy and the PDP is a vote for a brighter, more prosperous future.
A future that promises real development, transparency, and a government that truly works for the people.
The choice is clear: reject another four years of mega suffering under Aiyedatiwa and the APC, and vote for leadership that will take Ondo State to greater heights!
