WE ARE TIRED OF STANDING IN THE BANK–Customers.

As workers resumed work from the holidays declared by the Federal Government of Nigeria in respectect of the Eid-el-Malude celebration had created a kind of long queue in the Banks across the state. This long standing on a single file made the Customers to express their worries and angers by saying that they are tired of standing in the Banks as most of the staffs attending to the Customers did not border about the long queue .The staff that were supposed to be attending to the Customers were gossiping among themselves neglecting their customers on the lines  standing .
However, the system was so slow , most of the lines stood still and not moving at all due to the lukeworm attitude of the staff that didn’t treated their customers like king they ought to be. The screaming and shouting of the Customers did not changed anything . A customer who preferred anonymity said that” if care is not taken I will cause commotion and chaos in the bank if they refuse to attend to us” . It was later that a Senior staff came out from the inner room within the bank to calmed down the tension . In some cases, the ATM was not dispensing cash. Although, the Security men were going up and down doing their jobs by opening and closing doors for the customers that were going in and coming out from the bank and at the same time trying to manage the queue from both inside and outside to ensure that there was orderliness.
In another development, the situation was not different from most of  the banks visited . In some cases, customers were given “tally or number” before  they could be attended to. The First bank, GTB , UBA, Access Bank, , Zenith bank, FCMB bank and host of others were crowded today and their customers did not find it easy at all to get their transaction done . Majority of the Customers were lamenting of the sloggish attitude of the bankers towards their customers. According to them, its very difficult for them to deposit money and at the same time, hard for them to get their money  withdrawn due to the over crowded population of which there was no proactive mechanism that was put in place  on the parts of the bankers to arrest the situations by making the queue faster enough to ease the Customers stress.
