2023: THE YOUTHS AND THE ELDERS ARE READY FOR ATIKU – Oyewole.

Hon. Oyewole Adekunle, leader of the Ondo South West said that the youths in Ondo State are strongly in support of the Atiku ,to become the President of this nation , Nigeria in the 2023 general election under the People’s Democratic Party-PDP. He disclosed this to the Press men during the South West PDP Youth Alliance, Ondo State, chapter, held at the Akure City Hall, with the programme’ theme” 2023 Rescue Nigeria Project, Ondo State youths in focus ”. According to him, he said though the turn out was low due to the lack of proper disemination of information to all the Youths leaders across the eighteen Local Governments in the state. His words ” Actually the turn out is too poor, and is not that the Ondo State Youth are not in support of the programme but the disemination of the information from the leader is the problem. The information is not well diseminated.I, as the Ondo South West leader, I am not carried along ditho to the others local government leaders. So there is a lot of issues that needs to be addressed”
However, Hon. Adekunle, lamented for not carrying along the Youths leaders in the state for this type of programme. He said , other state like Osun, Oyo , Lagos always involved their youths leaders whenever they want to host this kind of great event. He opioned, that the programme was an avenue for the Youth to showcase how they want to win the general election in 2023 so that Atiku, himself would know that, Ondo State youths are fully in support of his political campaign to become a President.
In another development, Oyewole, said that in the last election,(2019) when their candidate contested, Ondo State came first even in the whole South West in terms of the highest number of votes given to Atiku. He said PDP won the election with more than 34, 000 votes, and that was a signal to tell you that Ondo State, both, the elders, the young and the leaders are fully in support of the Atiku-Okowa campaign exercise. He said their performance in 2019 general election would be replicated this time around as people had learnt their lessons. He said that the suffering and insecurity in the country is too much and so , the PDP is ready to take the power back from the rulling Party APC .In his words, ” The suffering is too much. A bag of rice is now sold at 45,000 Naira. People cannot afford just 500 naira to buy food. Therefore, it’s time for us to change the narrative and the mentality of our people for them to vote massively for Atiku , our Youths are ready for him and God will give us the power to do that.”.
