ONDO NOA URGES RESIDENT TO OBSERVE ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION
Ondo State Directorate of National Orientation Agency (NOA) has called on the residents of the State to observe Tomorrow environmental sanitation exercise slated for Saturday 25th March 2023 between 7am -10am without restrictions of both human and vehicular movement.
In a statement issued from the office of the Ondo NOA Director Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu on Friday in Akure called on the people to come out en masse to clean and clear all waste, dirty and bushes in their surroundings while emphasizing on the importance of cleanliness which is key to healthy life.
The NOA Boss assured the people of government readiness in quick intervention in any area that requires strategic deployment of officials to combat natural occurrence especially flooding as the climate is likely to experience more rain fall but passionately appealed to the people not to dump waste in all the waterways in the state as this might lead to blockages.
She therefore enjoined stakeholders to closely monitor the exercise across to the state.
