APBN Elects New Financial Secretary.

The Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria, APBN, Ondo State Chapter has elected Mrs Afolabi Toluope as the financial Secretary of the Association. Afolabi will be representing the Association of National Accountant of Nigeria-ANAN.

According to her, she said she was very happy to take up the post and that she would try her possible best in order to move the Association forward.
Also, the Chairman of the Association charged members of the Professional Bodies present to make sure that they come up with positive contribution from each of their Professional Bodies to be included in the 2024 budget whenever they’ called for imput from the relevant bodies for the purpose of moving the State forward and also addressed the areas where the Government needs to improve upon like fixing up bad roads, generating more IGR and recruitments of Teachers in our primary and secondary schools.

The Chairman, Sir Ologun said most of our Ministries are full of senior Officers and that we hardly have officer below Level -12 in our Ministries and at such, there is need for Government to recruit more staff into the various ministries.
In another development, the Delegates agreed to begin a career talk in our schools on engineering causes, Architecture, quantity Surveyor, Medical sciences and Social Sciences .

The assignment was given to some of the members of the Professional Bodies to come up with academic paper to that effect before now, till July ending as against September when the next academic session will take place in the State.
