I managed to escaped mortuary.
By Olusegun HOSEA. 19th December, 2023.

A renowned legal luminary of our time, Chief Olusola Oke -SAN has said he managed to escaped mortuary in a ghastly auto-crash that would have claimed his live and others members in his vehicle during a journey embarked on to the Southern part of Ondo State on Friday August 25, 2023. The accident which occured to him almost claimed his life but God saved him and others inside the vehicle. . According to him, he said he came to acclaimed the goodness of God in his life . His words ,  I have come to openly acclaimed the Majesty ,the goodness of God in my life, I have a closed Shave with death . I was very closed to the Mortuary but God said that it was not my part and brought me back to His Sanctuary…” Oke who said God saved his life simply because He knows that he had not completed his assignment in life . When asked which assignment he had not completed in life? His response was that service to humanity was the assignment God sent him to complete of which he had not finished.

Why responding to the questions if he wants to contests the governorship election following the gathering that encompasses the crops of political gladiators from different parties? Oke said the gathering was purely a thanksgiving. His words ” Thank you very much. We are here today for thanksgiving service. When a Journalist asked me whether I want to contest Governorship election ,my response is always , if breaking news is if I say I am not contesting . That is breaking news and that is my answer,,”

When asked about his experience on the health sector in Nigeria due to the incident? Oke has this to say ,that in my opinion, Nigeria Doctors have come of age and they are doing mighty job.He said he had all his surgery in Nigeria and that when he traveled abroad, the Professor of Medicine there confirmed the surgery was perfect. He said all what the Doctors needs in this country was encouragement, the right medical Tools for them to work with and the enabling environment for them to perform their duties.

Narrating his experience during the accident, Chief Olusola Oke said ” …In the process of this auto gymnastics, I was flung out of the vehicle, leaving my driver , personal assistant and the security detail trapped inside . By the time my driver and others managed to squeeze themselves out of the wreck of the vehicle, I was lying flat at the middle of the road. Mercifully, there were no vehicles driving on the very busy road at that moment and God saved me from being run over and crushed to death. The questions then are , how did I avoid being run over by another Vehicle? Why did I not hit my head on the tarred road? Why did I not suffer spinal cord injury but for fractured bones and broken ribs, if not for the abundant mercy and divine invisible hand of God that was involved?
Just before my driver and others got out of the vehicle, it caught fire, and got razed down after their miraculous escape. While I was moved away from the middle of the high way to the road side . Our evacuation from the accident scene to the Trauma Centre in Ondo by good Samaritans was a major medical step to halt our drift from life to death, even though there were no noticeable life-threatening physical injuries sustained… Yes, I passed through the shadow of death , I feared no evil , for God was and is still with me, and continuosly , my head shall not lack oil”.

He thanked all those who supported him financially and in kind during the trial times. He thanked all the political gladiators of his friends, the traditional rulers and other stakeholders in the society for rally round him. He thanked his two wives for standing by him. He said God has reasons for sparing his life because He knows that He has not finished the assignment He sent him to come and do on Earth. He appreciated his wives  and the children for their prayers and caring throughout the scenes.
Present at the event are Acting Governor , Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa ,top government functionaries and other stakeholders in the society both low and high profile people in the society graced the event
