The Proprietress of the Mayowa Nursery and Primary school, Akure Mrs Akinkuehinmi Janneth Adediwura has advised parents to take good care of their children during this long holiday. She started this during the speech and prize given celebration of the school at the school premises. According to her she said ” The school management begs of you to keep our children warm because of the old weather,give them warm food and keep them safe too.
Similarly the Proprietress appreciated God and parents for their support upon the learners and the school management. She said that the learners are doing well in their academic and therefore appreciated all members of her staff for their relentless effort in building the children up academically, morally and spiritually.
In another development, the management used the end of the year celebration of the school to appealed to the parents to pay the school fees of their ward as money is the principal things the school was using to run the school. She explained that it very un encouraging to still to still have many defaulters among the our pupils despite our constant plea.


While explaining further, Mrs Akinkuehinmi however said due to the economy meltdown which have affected everything including the cost of running the school, the management has no choice than to increase the school fees a little way as they intent to give the school a facelift structurally.
The event
Event featured cultural display, playlet , reading of news by the children , price distribution to the best learner’s in different categories in their various classes.
