Ondo Assembly Confirm Adelami As D”Gov.

The Hon. members of the Ondo State House of Assembly under the leadership of Hon Speaker Olamide Oladiji has considered the nomination of Dr. Olayide Owolabi Adelami for confirmation as The Deputy Governor of Ondo State as sent by the Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to the house which appears on the order paper of the House on Thursday 25th January,2024 for consideration . The order was on number four of the Assembly paper.
In a motion moved by the Hon. Emmanuel Omosuyi and seconded by other Hon members and the house agreed to proceed on the consideration of the Governor’s nominee from Owo as they asked Dr. Olayide Adelami to appear before the members of the house to address them.After the thorough deliberation, the house confirmed him as the Deputy Governor of Ondo State.
In his response, the Deputy Governor Dr. Adelami first of all expressed his condolences to the unfortunate incident that happened in the state that led to his emergence as the Deputy Governor of Ondo State.
He said he ventured into the politics just because he wants to serve his people. He said his duties was to promote understanding between the executive and the legislative. He said reconciliations of the party is the key.
He promised not to betrayed the emotion of his Boss HE lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
