ONDO STATE GRIEF: THE DEATH OF A COLLOSSUS OF OUR TIME, AKETI.
Dear People of Ondo State and the Bereaved Family of our Beloved Governor,
It is with immense grief and a profound sense of loss that we extend our heartfelt condolences on behalf of the entire Olusegun Agagun University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State.
Today, we stand in solidarity and empathy with the people of Ondo State and the family of our dearly departed Governor, His Excellency, whose passing has cast a pall of sorrow over our entire state. Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s demise has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts and in the governance of Ondo State.
His legacy, as a man of integrity and a stalwart of his word, will be eternally revered. His unwavering commitment to the betterment of our state, even in the face of adversities, has left an indelible mark on the history of Ondo State. His accomplishments, a testament to his dedication and tireless efforts, will resonate through the ages.
As the Vice Chancellor of OAUSTECH, alongside the entire Governing Council, management, staff, and students, wish to express our deepest sympathies and solidarity during this time of immense loss. Governor Akeredolu’s support to the advancement of education was unwavering, and we stand as witnesses to the positive transformations he enabled in our academic landscape.
His passing is not just a loss for the political realm; it is a loss for the entire fabric of our society. We share in your grief, and we pledge to honour his memory by continuing to uphold the values of integrity, diligence, and progress that he championed throughout his tenure.
