The Chief Judge of Ondo State, Hon. Justice Olusegun Odunsola at the special Court Session in honour of late Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN, CON has said the death of the late governor had taken them through several stages of emotional trauma and nostalgic moments. Describing the late governor as a remarkable man ,who bagan his journey on July 21, 1956 as a small child of his parents Evangelist Grace and Revd Ola Akeredolu of Owo where he was taught the values of integrity, honour and hard work by his parents.

According,to the CJ Odunsola, ,the late governor had a robust law practice, most of it in partnership with the former Attorney General of the Federation , Chief Akin Olujimi . Aketi who was elected into several committees of the Nigerian Bar Association over a period of two decades where he amply displayed his exceptional brilliance and exemplary leadership qualities.
In another development, the late governor Oluwarotimi was described as a committed family man who replied all his siblings and their spouses into a close- knit family that is sustained by love and integrity. In his social life style, Aketi ran a social circle of friends, mostly made up of old school network as well as professional and political affiliates as well as a prominent member of the Kegites Club whose activities Centre around dancing ,singing and a humorous linguistics jabs .
Similarly, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN CON was described as a courageous fighter, who faced the serious security challenges in the state with such ingenious courage that his approach has become a national model. He said whatever he promised to do he would fight to accomplish. He said  Arakunrin didn’t interfered with judicial activities even when it did not favour his desires even . He said the late Aketi always tell them that ” Milord , deliver your judgement in your true conscience, if I am not satisfied I will appeal”.
Further more, the Executive Governor of Ondo State, HE Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa who said the valedictory court Session held in honour of the Akeredolu was well deserved because his life activities revolved around the noble profession of legal discipline. He described him as a man of letter and learner that practice the law to it’s fullest. He said it’s true that all men are born equal but some attain higher heights by their nature and industries . He said the history of the late governor at the Judiciary are well known and documented. He explained his late leader was an achiever of success stories.

He also, described his late principal as a courageous leader who challenged the then Military Administrator of the Ondo State under whom he served for abusing the human rights activities without fear of the consequences of his actions.
Present at the occasion were, Ondo State Deputy Governor Dr Olajide Adelami, Kwara State Governor, Rasaq Abdulraman, former Inspector General of Police, Sunday Ehindero and other top government functionaries we’re in attendance.
