Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman Meets with Director General for the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency Jakob Granit

Today, Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman met with Jakob Granit, Director General of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), to sign the Third Extension of the Terms of Reference for Collaboration to champion sustainable models of development rooted in our shared values, which include a focus on amplifying local voices in development programming, strengthening democracy and respect for human rights, and unleashing the power of the private sector. Deputy Administrator Coleman thanked Director General Granit for Sweden’s leadership to advance locally led development. The Deputy Administrator and Director General also discussed ongoing assistance to Ukraine, a key priority for both countries.
