It was a sad moment with  management, Staff and other people present at one of the First Bank branch in Abaji, in Abuja on Thursday when some Robbers numbering about 15 carried out a deadly attacked on the Bank at about 5:00 pm together with the police station nearby with dynamites and carted away some amounts of money on counter during the operation.

According to the available report at our disposal, the combined Security forces across various agencies joined hands together in fighting the gangs of the Robbers in a fierce battle in order to ensure that they put a stop to further evil action of the Robbers.
Meanwhile, the Combined Security team of personnel were able to gun down some of the Robbers while one Police Inspector paid the supreme price in the cause of the battle . While three suspects were arrested and some of the them got injured during the operations. The source had it that sone Robbers fled with injuries during the exchange of gun battles with the security personnel.
The source also have it that despite the fact that the attacks was carried out ,the Robbers were unable to access the bank’s strong room where bulk of the customers’s money and other valuable items are kept as the combined forces of the  security men were able to curtained the attacks but they made away with some money on the counter as said above . It was  also gathered that an angry mob set the corpse of one of the robbers ablaze at the location of the happening of the scene in Abuja.
