Minimum wage: Senate passes The Bill Into Law .

Senate has just passed the National minimum wage bill into law as it was transmitted by the President Bola Ahmed TINUBU on Tuesday 23rd July 2024. The Bill which scaled first, second and third readings just minutes after it was sent by the President was instantly passed by the upper Chamber.
The National Minimum wage Act 2019 (Amended Bill) gave room for the spreading passage of the minimum wage after being sent by the President. In a Unanimous vote after a clause consideration in the committee of the whole , the national minimum wage Bill scaled third readings and was passed.
