Continue to make Nigeria proud, Speaker Abbas tells D’Tigress

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D, has rejoiced with Nigeria’s D’Tigress for qualifying to the quarterfinals of the Women’s Basketball competition at the ongoing 2024 Olympics in Paris, France.

Speaker Abbas said the Nigerian female basketball team has been doing the nation proud, urging them to maintain the tempo.

The Speaker noted with delight how the D’Tigress made history by being the first African team to qualify for the quarterfinals at the Olympics.

In a press statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, the Speaker assured the D’Tigress and the entire Nigerian contingent at the 2024 Paris Olympics of the Green Chamber’s support.

He urged the team and other members of the Nigerian contingent to remain focused and determined to win laurels for the country.

Signed:

Musa Abdullahi Krishi, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
