Centring Girls in Education Reforms: CODE Visits Federal Ministry of Education, Presents Education Report
Following the release of our State of Education in North East Nigeria report, a team from Connected Development (CODE) met with the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, to discuss research findings and explore partnerships to drive education reforms focused on gender responsive budgeting towards boosting enrolment, retention, and transitioning of girls to higher education.
Dr. Sununu praised CODE’s efforts and assured CODE’s Chief Executive, Hamzat Lawal, of the Ministry’s commitment to continued collaboration. We look forward to working together to address challenges in Nigeria’s education sector.
