By Olusegun HOSEA. 10th October 2024.

In a bit to solve the problems of unemployment among the citizens of the Nigeria particularly, the good people of Sunshine State. Ondo State Development Entrepreneur Agency -Ondea had conducted an online assessment for thousands of the people looking for a remote job for the purpose of getting themselves employed on one job or the other. The examinations which was conducted today at the Ondea Internal Revenue hall ,opposite -Dome , along Igbatoro road Akure featured two sections with about five (5000) thousand candidates who came with their personal laptop, extension wire, wil-fi and means of identification. The candidate were screened before allowing them in into the examinations hall.

Thirty questions were given to test their intelligence qoutient -IQ.Those who could not meet up with the system timing was automatically shut up by the system but the officers of the Ondea were fully on ground to assist those candidates with technical hitch. The people were advised to work on their technological devices and their Internet connectivity in the future in case they were choosing at the end of the exercise.

That the international organizations may not want to listen to any excuses that there is network failure or other issues because their own priorities was to get their job done . The coordinator who addressed the candidates after the examinations  said people should  always check on their email constantly because of the vital information that they may likely send to them and if they failed to check it, they may lose some  opportunities.

The experience of people with the COVID-19 in the year 2020  which locked up every nations and forced people to work remotely had taught the people to embraced remote job opportunities. To achieve this in our society, the Ondo State government via her agency designated for the creation of jobs opportunities for her citizens has key in into this world of dimensional ways of employing people on one jobs or the other by conducting this type of assessment for the people. to work remotely

At least this would made them have extra income to those that have permanent jobs or the fresh people that are looking for good jobs to do in order to have passive income to catered for themselves and their families.
