*ONDO STATE POLICE COMMAND CELEBRATES 2024 CUSTOMERS SERVICE WEEK*

The Ondo State Police Command successfully celebrated the 2024 Customer Service week slated for 7th to 11th October, 2024.

The celebration which was organized by the Commands Servicom unit aimed at getting feedbacks from the people to enable the command evaluate its performance and public perception of the police by the people of the state. As this will be a guide to improve on service delivery, and strengthen the Police -public relationship.

The Command organized a stakeholders meeting where PCRC members, Market women, representatives of Commercial Motorcyclist and others were present and allowed to air their view on the policing system and their challenges when in contact with the Police in the state as this will also form part of the Commands review on the activities of Police personnel in the state.

The Commissioner of Police CP Abayomi Peter Oladipo charged the good people of the State to develop trust in the ability of the police to serve them better. He equally promised to relay the messages of the Stakeholders to the Police Authority and assured the people of improve police services in the state.

He said the command harps on professionalism on the part of its personnel at all times and gives room for complaint against Police Action and decisions through the Complaint Response Unit of the Command ( CRU) as a feedback mechanism.

The CP urged the stakeholders at the meeting to always see themselves as part of the security network in the state, inform the police of any suspicious activities around them and be rest assured that their identity is safe and be conscious of their environment.
He stated further that the mantra ‘ Police is your friend’ is true and the command will do all in her powers to ensure a smooth working relationship with law abiding citizens in the state.
