The Inter Party Advisory Council -IPAC , Ondo State chapter has called on the security agents to arrest any hired political thugs that might wants to disrupt the peace in the state during, before and after in the forth coming Governorship election slated for 16th November, 2024.

Stated this in a Press conference organised by the leadership of the IPAC Council, the chairman Adesanyan Olaoluwa  said the press release was made simply because of the protest rocking Ondo State, concerning the integrity of the Ondo State INEC resident electoral commissioner of whom people believed that she would not conduct free, fair and credible election in the state.

Adesanyan explained that their findings on the said matter reviewed that the REC has carried along IPAC in all the commissioner activities as regards the November gubanatoria election. His words ” that IPAC equivocally stated that INEC Ondo State under the watch of the state resident electoral commissioner, Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola has carried IPAC along in all the commissioner’s activities, as regard the forth coming November ,16th 2024.
Similarly, the Chairman also refute the allegations levelled against the REC that she connived with any political party to subvert the coming Governorship election was a false and can not be substantiated whatsoever.
Adesanyan said the State Chapter of the IPAC council has demonstrated their confidence in the ability of the Ondo REC in conducting free, fair and credible election come 16th November 2024. He said the IPAC in the state Unanimously passed votes of confidence on Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola to continue with her statutory obligation in respect of the gubanatoria election slated for 16th November, 2024.
