APPRECIATION: THE MEDIA

Distinguished gentlemen of the Press, good morning.

On behalf of my Principal, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, I want to specially thank you for your professional efforts, sacrifices and contributions throughout the processes leading to the November 16, 2024 governorship election in Ondo State.

The journey to the unprecedented electoral success of Governor Aiyedatiwa couldn’t have been that smooth-sailing without your professional inputs. Your unbiased coverage, reportage and narratives before, during and after the election beautified the entire electoral process.

My appreciation to all journalists and media organizations in Ondo state and beyond. You enriched our democracy in your own corner. You, once again, gave hope for a better society.

Governor Aiyedatiwa is an advocate of freedom of the press and will continue to provide enabling environment for journalists and all professionals to perform their legitimate duties.

It’s now time for governance and I am confident that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa will emplace a purposeful leadership that we all can be proud of.

May your voices never go down. May your ink never fade.

Thank you.

Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan,
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State.
