House of Representatives Sets Agenda for March 11, 2025, Plenary Session

Abuja, Nigeria | Tuesday, March 11, 2025 – The House of Representatives has unveiled its legislative agenda for today’s plenary session, highlighting a range of critical issues to be addressed. With a focus on national development, the agenda includes the presentation of several key bills, committee reports, and motions designed to tackle pressing concerns in Nigeria.

Among the significant bills introduced today are the Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessment (ESHIA) Bill, 2025 and the National Electoral Offences Commission (Establishment) Bill, 2025. Lawmakers will also discuss important amendments to the Constitution, including proposed changes related to the Electoral Act and the establishment of various federal institutions, such as the Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC).

In addition to the bills, the session will feature reports from several key committees, including the Finance Committee and the Judiciary Committee, addressing issues ranging from taxation to judicial reforms.

The House also plans to deliberate on motions aimed at improving security and infrastructure, such as the call for the release of citizens in Okuama Community, Delta State, and efforts to address electricity supply challenges in Kwara State.
