EFCC Arraigns Man Over Alleged N70M Property Fraud in Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos Zonal Directorate 1, on Thursday, May 8, 2025, arraigned one Ntai Bagshaw and his company, Terraworks Limited, before Justice I.O. Ijelu of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, over a N70 million fraud involving a real estate transaction.
Bagshaw and his company are facing a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money under false pretence and stealing. The offences are said to be contrary to Section 1(3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act No. 14 of 2006, and Section 278(2)(b) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
According to the EFCC, the defendant allegedly obtained the sum of N70,000,000.00 (Seventy Million Naira
