The Ondo State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has extended warm congratulations to Comrade Yinka Ogunleye on her emergence as the Chairperson of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) Alumni Association, Akure Chapter.

Ogunleye clinched the leadership position during a peaceful and transparent election held at the Engineer Adedeji Philip Engineering House in Akure, the Ondo State capital. Her emergence was unopposed after other contenders stepped down, signaling broad acceptance of her candidacy.

In a statement jointly signed by NAWOJ Chairperson Comrade Tola Gbadamosi and Secretary Comrade Oluwatosin Ighoteguono, the association praised Ogunleye’s track record as a dedicated and visionary leader.

“You are a trailblazer whose passion for community development and unwavering commitment to excellence have consistently distinguished you,” the statement read.

The association expressed confidence in her ability to elevate the Akure Chapter of the RUGIPO Alumni Association and serve as an inspiration to future leaders. NAWOJ wished her a successful and impactful tenure.
