Three Suspected Burglars Arrested  in Akure

The Ondo State Police Command has apprehended three suspects in connection with a recent burglary at the residence of  one Justice  in the State Capital in Arowosegbe along Ondo Road, Akure.

The incident, which occurred on 19th July 2025, was reported by the victim after unidentified persons allegedly broke into his home, carting away valuable items, including electrical wires.

Following swift investigative efforts, the police arrested three individuals identified as Michael John from Plateau State, Yusuf Mohamed from Kebbi State, and Samson Gini from Kano State. During interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to their involvement in the burglary, as well as a series of other theft operations within Akure and its environs.

Authorities confirmed that the suspects will soon be charged to court to face prosecution as investigations continue to track down other members of their syndicate.
