
Celebration of Excellence as TVC’s Ayodeji Moradeyo Bags 2025 Media Man of the Year Award

It was a night of glamour and recognition in Akure as distinguished Nigerians were celebrated at the 18th edition of the Hero’s Magazine Annual Awards, with TVC News ace journalist, Ayodeji Moradeyo, emerging as the 2025 Media Man of the Year.
The colourful event, held at the International Culture and Events Centre (The Dome), attracted eminent personalities from across the country and honoured nine outstanding individuals in diverse fields of endeavour.
Chairman of the occasion, former SGF and Olu of Ilu Abo, Oba Olu Falae, applauded the initiative, stressing the importance of honouring achievers while they are alive, rather than neglecting their contributions.
Representing Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Fasoranti, congratulated the awardees and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to human capital development and security.
Moradeyo, who began his journalism career in 2003 with Galaxy Television, has built an impressive career spanning National Mirror, 235Next, Niger Delta Standard, and National Life Newspaper before joining TVC Communications 14 years ago, where he continues to make remarkable contributions.
Other awardees include Mr. Femi Meshe, MD/CEO of Atlas Energy Ltd – Ondo State Man of the Year 2025; Mr. Akinola Folajimi – Personality of the Year in Human Capacity Development; Mr. Olasetemi Bode Thompson – Outstanding Personality of the Year in Human Resources Development; Engr. Adigun – Pillar of Education Man of the Year; Prince Adedeji Adesida – Community Development Influencer of the Year 2023; Mr. Ajayi Oluwafemi Michael – Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year; Mr. Simon Adegun – Personality in Education of the Year 2025; and Mr. Adebiyi Alex Adedipe – Outstanding Business Personality of the Year 2025.
Publisher of Hero’s Magazine, Sunday Akinbiola, explained that the honorees were carefully selected through a rigorous screening and voting process to celebrate excellence, leadership, and service to humanity.
The event was graced by traditional rulers and dignitaries including the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye; the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi; Ondo State Attorney General, Dr. Kayode Ajulo; MD of Benin Owena River Basin Authority, Dr. Femi Adekanmbi; and Founder of Dorian Home for Charity, Dr. Tolulola Bayode.
