Ondo State Launches Ambitious Agricultural Investment Drive with Inauguration of FRILIA Steering Committee

In a major move to transform its agricultural landscape and boost food security, Ondo State Governor Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa officially inaugurated the Steering Committee for the Framework for Responsible and Inclusive Land-Intensive Agricultural Investment (FRILIA) on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. The initiative aims to promote sustainable farming practices while ensuring fair economic benefits for local communities, beginning with the acquisition of 26,000 hectares of farmland in Ose Local Government Area for a pilot agricultural scheme.
