Supreme Court Victory: OSOPADEC Congratulates Governor Aiyedatiwa on Legal Triumph

The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, following the Supreme Court’s affirmation of his victory in the 2024 governorship election.
In a congratulatory statement signed by Prince Olabiyi Olaleye Poroye, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OSOPADEC, the commission described the apex court’s verdict—delivered after the withdrawal of all pending appeals—as a resounding validation of the people’s mandate and a firm endorsement of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.
“This judicial victory is not only a personal triumph for Your Excellency but also a celebration of the will of the people of Ondo State,” the statement read. “It reaffirms public confidence in the democratic process and the judiciary as the final arbiter of justice.”
The Commission praised Governor Aiyedatiwa as “an invincible warrior” whose steadfast commitment to inclusive governance, peace, and prosperity continues to inspire hope across the state.
Reaffirming its unwavering support, OSOPADEC pledged full collaboration with the governor in the actualization of his development agenda—especially in oil-producing areas under the Commission’s jurisdiction.
