Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Friday met with all nine members of the House of Representatives from the state, as both sides reaffirmed their commitment to collective development, political unity, and sustained stability in Ondo State.
The meeting, held during a dinner hosted by the governor at the Government House in Akure, focused on strengthening collaboration between the federal lawmakers and the state government, particularly in advancing development initiatives and consolidating unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the party’s congresses.
Governor Aiyedatiwa charged the lawmakers to see the peace, progress, and development of Ondo State as a shared responsibility, stressing that governance must rise above partisan interests.
He said the synergy between the executive arm and the National Assembly members was critical to sustaining development momentum in the Sunshine State, noting that his administration would continue to prioritise the welfare of the people over politics.

Responding on behalf of the lawmakers, the federal legislators commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for what they described as notable developmental strides across the state.
