Prince Momoh Abdulazeez Adeyemi AKA Ricardo Receives Human Development and Leadership Award
Prince Momoh Abdulazeez Adeyemi (popularly known as Ricardo), an accomplished engineer, entrepreneur, and youth advocate, has been selected to receive the Human Development and Leadership Award at the forthcoming 2026 Fizzy Lecture and Award Ceremony organized by D Chronicle Media Ventures. The event, themed “Southwest Security Synergy: Amotekun’s Role in Regional Stability and Development,” is scheduled for February 22, 2026, at the OSDPC Event Hall, Ijapo Estate, Akure, by 2:00 p.m.
The ceremony will feature Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, Commandant of the Amotekun Corps, Ondo State, as Guest Speaker; Hon. Dayo Awude, Former Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, as Chairman; Hon. Otunba Timehin Adelegbe, MHR (Owo/Ose Federal Constituency) as Guest of Honour; and His Excellency, Hon. (Dr.) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Governor of Ondo State, as Special Guest of Honour. The programme brings together leaders, professionals, and stakeholders dedicated to promoting responsible leadership and sustainable development across the South West.
Prince Abdulazeez represents a new generation of leaders combining professional excellence with deep community consciousness. As Operations Manager at Matrix Gas, he plays a vital role in Nigeria’s energy sector, where he is known for competence, integrity, and effective operational leadership.
He is a registered engineer with COREN and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Prince Abdulazeez has distinguished himself through consistent investments in human development and youth empowerment. His interventions in education include bursaries for undergraduates and the provision of learning materials and uniforms to pupils in public primary schools, helping to reduce barriers to learning for disadvantaged children.
He has also contributed meaningfully to community development through the renovation and facelift of mosques across Akoko North, strengthening communal spaces and supporting faith-based cohesion. In addition, his sponsorship of vocational training and small business initiatives has empowered many young people with practical skills and opportunities for economic independence.
