FEDPOLEL Rector Bags Yoruba Leadership Award of Integrity

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Dr. Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku, has been honoured with the Yoruba Leadership Award of Integrity in recognition of his outstanding contributions to education and youth development.
The award was presented by the Yoruba Youth Assembly (YYA), headquartered in Ibadan, during a ceremony held on Thursday, 26th February, 2026, at the Rector’s Conference Room of the institution.
The event drew the presence of principal officers of the Polytechnic, including the Deputy Rector, Dr. Samson Omogbehin; the Registrar, Mr. Gabriel Awe; the Bursar, Mr. Ebenezer Olabode; and the Polytechnic Librarian, Dr. Rachael Aladeniyi, alongside other members of staff and well-wishers.
Presenting the award, the President of the Yoruba Youth Assembly, Aare Olarinde Thomas, described Dr. Ebeloku as a visionary administrator whose dedication to educational advancement and youth empowerment has distinguished him in the sector. He stated that the honour was in recognition of the Rector’s impactful leadership and commitment to excellence across the institutions he has served, including Federal Polytechnic, Offa; Lens Polytechnic, Offa; and Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji.
Thomas further noted that the Rector was conferred with the title “Grand Commander of Ideal Education in Nigeria for the Year 2025” for his immense contributions to students, youths and staff development.
In his acceptance remarks, Dr. Ebeloku expressed appreciation to the Yoruba Youth Assembly for the recognition, describing it as an honour not only to him but to the entire Polytechnic community. He dedicated the award to members of staff and management, acknowledging the collaborative support of the institution’s principal officers in achieving shared goals.
The YYA President was accompanied to the ceremony by the Ondo State Coordinator, Mr. Ariyo Vincent, and the Director of Media, Ogbeni Olaleru Folorunsho.
The Yoruba Youth Assembly is an umbrella body for youths in the South-West geopolitical zone, established to promote and preserve Yoruba language and cultural heritage, while fostering youth engagement, leadership development and entrepreneurship.
