The Ondo State Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mrs. Olufunke Moradeyo Adekunle, has urged women to remain committed to nurturing families and promoting values that strengthen society as part of activities marking the 2026 International Women’s Day celebration.
Mrs. Adekunle made the call in a message commemorating the day, noting that this year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” underscores the importance of selfless contributions by women in building stable families and progressive communities.
She explained that women occupy a strategic position in shaping responsible citizens through the values they instill in children and the roles they play in community development.
According to her, when women invest their time, care, and positive influence in raising children and supporting family structures, the nation ultimately benefits through sustained peace, unity, and development.
The NOA Director therefore encouraged women to continue to serve as positive role models in society while urging stakeholders to support and empower them through access to education, opportunities, and respect.
She added that the agency remains committed to promoting value reorientation and strengthening civic responsibility among Nigerians.
The statement was signed by the Head of Department, Media and Communication, on behalf of the State Director.
