Oladipupo Elected Chairman of Olufaom Central Communities, Pledges Unity and Development

A new executive committee has emerged to lead the Olufaom Central Communities for the next three years, with Mr. Ilemobayo Oladipupo elected as Chairman after a peaceful and keenly contested election involving delegates from the constituent communities.
The election brought together delegates from the eleven communities that make up the Olufaom Central Communities—Abusoro, Aladanla, Oluwole, Ifeaowapo, Temidire, Olowolagba, Ifelodun, Isokan, Ifelodun Oore, Surulere, Oloruntedo and Opeyemi. Each community was represented by three delegates.
At the end of the poll, Mr. Oladipupo of Ifelodun secured victory with 17 votes, defeating Mr. Fakorede of Abusoro, who polled 15 votes.
Other elected officers include Mr. Oluyemi Tope of Olowolagba as Vice Chairman, Mr. Ayobami Timothy of Oluwole as Secretary, Mrs. Adeyeye Foluke of Surulere as Treasurer, and Mr. Longe Olabisi of Aladanla as Financial Secretary.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman called on residents of all the communities to embrace unity and work collectively for the growth and development of the area.
Mr. Oladipupo described the election as the beginning of a new chapter for the Olufaom Central Communities, expressing confidence that the new executive would ensure equitable and accelerated development across all the constituent communities.
He said his administration would prioritise inclusiveness, strengthen cooperation among the communities, and align its programmes with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Ondo State Government to attract meaningful development to the area.
The Chairman also commended the delegates and stakeholders for their peaceful conduct throughout the electoral process, assuring residents of transparent, purposeful and people-oriented leadership during his three-year tenure.
