‎The Executive Governor of ondo state, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has declared to the public that the Ondo State All Progressive Congress -APC as a political party remains united and committed to delivering the state to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027 general elections. Starting this today at the Party inauguration of the state campaign committee for the re-election of the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027. Head at  International Event Center, the Dome in Akure, Aiyedatiwa said all the political gladiators of the party converged at the Dome to give their support for the inauguration of the campaign committee for the delivery of the proposed on millions votes for the re-election of the incumbent President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
‎
‎According to him, other political representatives of the state at the federal level like the Minister and the former Governor of the state that were supposed to be part of the event were unavoidably absent due to their official engagement. He said that they all sent their apology for not be able to be on ground physically. He explained that the ministers, the three of them, sent their apologies because of their engagements. The former governor is celebrating his 70th birthday today in Abuja, which I’m going to join now. So, he’s not here, but he’s here with us in spirit.
‎
‎The programme which attracted huge crowd at the Dome was like a political fun Jamboree as the participants have a wonderful time for themselves which indicated their readiness to give support to the leadership of their party for the purpose of re-election of the Mr President. The humour of the event was confirmed by the government himself when he said that they were having a good day with them at the venue ..His words “Those you didn’t see here, who are political heavyweights in the state, are part of us. We are not just united. Look at it. I said something during my speech: a lot of strategies have been deployed to win elections. In 2014, when the APC was formed, it was through coalition alliances that brought us to power in 2015. I’ve seen that at the federal level. He said currently, we have the core party working for our president, PDP working for our president, and AFGAR working for our president.
‎That is to tell you that we are not just united within our party; we are even bringing other parties to join forces with us to retain power.”
