On International Women’s Day, Beauty Modimu, the Vice Chairman of Ese Odo Local Government, expressed her deep appreciation for the progress women have made and emphasized the importance of supporting each other in the pursuit of leadership roles. In an emotional statement, Modimu credited the state’s governor for empowering women and promoting gender equality in various sectors, highlighting the visible presence of women in leadership positions across the  States.

Modimu, a staunch advocate for female empowerment, encouraged women to lift each other up, advising those hesitant to pursue their ambitions due to fear of rejection to seek support from fellow women. She stressed that unity among women is key to breaking barriers and advancing to higher positions in society.

“As women, we need to support each other and push each other to greater heights,” Modimu said, urging women across the state to overcome self-doubt and aim for leadership roles. The event marked a powerful reminder of the continued strides women are making towards equality and recognition in various fields.
