Eid-El-Fitr: CP Wilfred Afolabi Celebrates with Muslim Faithful, Orders Enhanced Security at Prayer Grounds

Akure, Ondo State – March 29, 2025 – The Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Police Command, CP Wilfred Afolabi, psc+, mnips, has extended his heartfelt greetings to Muslim faithful across the state in celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the conclusion of Ramadan. In his message, he prayed that Almighty Allah accepts their fasting as an act of worship.

In preparation for the festive period, CP Afolabi has directed comprehensive security measures to be implemented at prayer grounds statewide, ensuring a peaceful and secure celebration for all attendees. Additionally, he has urged parents and guardians to be vigilant, particularly with young children, to prevent any cases of missing persons.

To further bolster security, police presence has been intensified along highways and at the state’s borders, ensuring the safety of travelers and residents alike.
