As the Muslim faithful in Ondo State join in the joyous celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, Alhaji Olanrewaju Babasale, Chairman of Al Fulaniy Travel and Tours Limited and Imam Badiru Li Lahi Owo, has sent a heartfelt message of congratulations and encouragement to the Muslim community, urging them to carry forward the lessons of Ramadan and continue nurturing faith, unity, and love.

In his Eid-el-Fitr message, Alhaji Babasale congratulated Muslims for their successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, a time dedicated to fasting, prayer, self-reflection, and serving the community. He expressed deep appreciation for their dedication during this sacred period, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the spiritual discipline and virtues that Ramadan instills in every believer.

“On the occasion of this blessed Eid-el-Fitr, I join you in celebrating the end of a month filled with fasting, prayer, and reflection. May this moment serve as an opportunity to rekindle our commitment to unity, love, and mutual respect for one another, irrespective of our differences,” he said.

Alhaji Babasale particularly acknowledged the leadership of prominent figures, including the Ondo State Governor, Alhaji Imam Dr. Sheikh Ahmad Olagoke Aladesawe (The Grand Chief Imam of Owo Kingdom), and Alhaji Ibrahim Kolawole Ajape (The Grand Kamaludeen of Owo Kingdom), among others. He extended special thanks to the leaders of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (I.E.D.P.U.), the management and staff of Al Fulaniy Travel and Tours Ltd., and Muslim clerics and leaders across Ondo State for their prayers and continued support.

In his words, “As you celebrate Eid, I encourage you to reflect on the valuable lessons that Ramadan has imparted—patience, compassion, self-discipline, and love for others. Let these virtues continue to guide us as we navigate our lives beyond Ramadan.”

He also prayed for God’s endless blessings to rain upon all Muslims and their families during this festive period, wishing them a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

In a message to the broader community, Alhaji Babasale encouraged all to maintain their commitment to fostering harmony and peaceful coexistence, underlining the role of religious tolerance in Ondo State’s social fabric. The Governor, in his address, expressed gratitude to Muslim leaders for their prayers and support, reiterating his administration’s pledge to ensure a conducive environment for religious harmony throughout the state.

“As we celebrate this blessed season together, may the divine light of Eid illuminate our hearts and strengthen our bonds of unity, love, and faith,” Alhaji Babasale concluded.

Eid Mubarak to all!
