Ijigba community buzzed with excitement as His Royal Highness, Oyewunmi Rotimi Akinbosotu, was formally installed as the Regent. The momentous occasion witnessed the presence of prominent figures, including the Secretary of Akure South Local Government Council, Hon. Adeola Rosemary Fynch, who represented the Council Chairman.
The event was further graced by the Family Head of the Rotimis, Prince Bola Rotimi, and the Crown Prince, Prince Lanre Rotimi. Chief and Chief Mrs. Richard Akinbosotu, Chief Mrs. Adekanye (the Erelu Akure), and High Chief Sunday Ilesanmi (the Elemo of Ijigba) were also among the esteemed traditional and honorary chiefs in attendance.
Adding a spiritual dimension to the ceremony was Pastor Olubola of CAC Ijigba, alongside Prince Michael Akinbosotu and friends of the newly installed Regent who journeyed from Lagos to share in the joyous event. The atmosphere was filled with cultural pride and anticipation for the leadership of HRH Oyewunmi Rotimi Akinbosotu as he takes on this significant role within the Ijigba community.
