Ondo CP Orders Immediate Arrest of Thugs Who Assaulted School Vice Principal

The Commissioner of Police in Ondo State, CP Wilfred Olutokunbo Afolabi, Psc(+), mnips, has ordered the immediate arrest of thugs who reportedly assaulted a school vice principal on the instruction of a parent. The incident, which has drawn public condemnation, occurred recently within the state.

In response, the Police Commissioner has directed the urgent deployment of tactical teams to apprehend all individuals involved in the attack. To ensure effective coordination and prevent further breakdown of law and order, the CP has also assigned the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations to take over the investigation and lead the operation.

“The Ondo State Police Command will not tolerate any form of violence, especially within our educational institutions,” CP Afolabi stated. “All those responsible for this shameful act must be brought to book.”

He further assured the public that the police, in collaboration with other security agencies, are on top of the situation. He urged law-abiding residents of the state to remain calm and continue with their lawful activities without fear.

“The safety and security of every citizen remains our top priority,” the CP emphasized.

Investigations are ongoing.
