Ondo Police Crack Down on Armed Robbery Syndicate, Recover Stolen Truck

The Ondo State Police Command has announced a significant breakthrough in a case involving armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and forgery of vehicular documents. A syndicate operating across state lines has been dismantled, and a stolen truck has been recovered.
Details of the Operation
– On February 8, 2023, a group of armed men stormed the premises of Dollar Boys Global Investment in Akure, making away with a white DAF truck and other valuables.
– Following a thorough investigation, operatives of the Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Squad (AKS) tracked the stolen vehicle to Jigawa, Kano, and Sokoto States, where five suspects were arrested.
– The suspects had modified the stolen vehicle, altering its structure and identification features to evade detection.
