Governor Sanwo -Olu pays tribute to Fasonranti as he clocks 100years
Tributes have continued to pour in for elder statesman and Afenifere leader, Reuben Fasoranti, as he clocks 100 years, with Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, describing him as a symbol of truth, justice, and good governance.
Sanwo-Olu, in a congratulatory message issued on behalf of his family, the government and people of Lagos State, as well as governors in the South-West, praised Fasoranti’s enduring contributions to the progress of Yorubaland and Nigeria.
The governor said the elder statesman has remained a respected voice in the advocacy for equity, justice, and national development, noting that his leadership and commitment to public service continue to inspire many Nigerians.
He expressed gratitude to God for granting Fasoranti long life, good health, and sound mind at the age of 100, praying for more strength, peace, wisdom, and continued good health for the nonagenarian.
