Unique Fertility Help Consult Founders to Receive AINPN Southwest 2026 Leadership Icon Award
IBADAN — Founders of Unique Fertility Help Consult, Ambassador Dr. Agboola Olaoluwa and Ambassador Dr. (Mrs.) Agboola Olaoluwa, have been named recipients of the 2026 Leadership Icon Award of the Association of Independent Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria (AINPN), Southwest Chapter, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to affordable fertility support services in Nigeria.
The award will be presented during the AINPN Southwest Leadership Icon Lecture and Award Programme scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Ogunlana Hall, International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The event, themed “Fostering Regional Prosperity: Economic and Security Integration in Southwest Nigeria,” will celebrate distinguished Nigerians who have made remarkable contributions to national development.
Ambassador Dr. Agboola Olaoluwa and Ambassador Dr. (Mrs.) Agboola Olaoluwa will receive the “Trailblazer in Affordable Fertility Support Services” award in recognition of their groundbreaking work in reproductive healthcare and humanitarian service.
Through Unique Fertility Help Consult, the couple has redefined access to fertility care in Nigeria. The organisation has become one of the most sought-after fertility and reproductive health centres in Southwest Nigeria, renowned for combining medical expertise with compassion to give hope to thousands of families.

AINPN Southwest stated that the award recognises the Olaoluwas for pioneering affordable solutions in a critical sector of healthcare and for restoring dignity and joy to countless homes.
They will be honoured alongside other eminent Nigerians, including Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior; Aare Afe Babalola, SAN, Founder of Afe Babalola University; and Prof. Kayode Oyebode, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, among other recipients selected for their impact in governance, education, business, and community service.
The Leadership Icon Lecture will be delivered by Prof. Emilolorun Ambrose Ayelari, former Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), University of Ibadan. Chief Adeniyi Michael Akintola, SAN, will serve as Chairman of the occasion, while the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, is expected as the Special Guest of Honour.
Royal Fathers of the Day are His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife, and His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Aruna I, Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The programme will also feature the official launch of the AINPN Southwest Secretariat Project and panel discussions on regional integration and security.
The ceremony is scheduled to commence at 12:00 noon prompt.
