Aiyedatiwa Reappoints Taiwo Fasoranti as Ondo SSG After Senate Primary Bid
Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has reappointed Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), nearly four months after he stepped down from the position to contest the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary for Ondo Central.
The reappointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Dr. Fasoranti resigned as SSG on March 30, 2026, to participate in the APC Senate primaries for the Ondo Central Senatorial District.
According to the statement, Governor Aiyedatiwa approved Fasoranti’s return to the office in recognition of his experience in public administration, policy formulation, and governance.
The governor congratulated the reappointed SSG and urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by serving the people of Ondo State with dedication, integrity, and commitment to the administration’s Our Ease agenda.
Fasoranti previously served as Secretary to the State Government before his resignation and is expected to resume duties immediately.
