FEDPOLEL to Honour Immediate Past Registrar, Awe, October 6
The Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji (FEDPOLEL), Ondo State, will on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, hold a send-forth reception in honour of its immediate past Registrar, Mr. Gabriel Adeyemi Awe, following the completion of his five-year single tenure.
Awe, who served as the third substantive Registrar of the institution, completed his tenure on September 9, 2026, after assuming office on September 10, 2021.
The send-forth programme, approved by the management under the leadership of the Rector, Dr. Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku, will feature a novelty football match between the Academic and Non-Teaching Staff of the Polytechnic.
The football match is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Polytechnic Sports Complex, while the grand reception will follow at 12:00 noon at the institution’s 1,500-capacity Multipurpose Auditorium.
Members of the Polytechnic community, friends of the institution, as well as the celebrant and members of his family, are expected to attend the event.
During his tenure, Awe introduced several initiatives aimed at strengthening the administration and welfare of staff in the Registry.
Among the initiatives credited to his administration were the Annual Registry Retreat, Registry Welfare Scheme and e-Appraisal for Staff Review.
The Polytechnic community, in a statement signed by the Deputy Registrar, Information, Protocol and Passages, Sanmi Enigbokan, congratulated Awe on the completion of his tenure and wished him continued success and fulfilment in his future endeavours.
