Aiyedatiwa Renames The Dome After Former Ondo Governor Mimiko
Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has renamed the International Centre for Culture and Events, popularly known as The Dome, Akure, after former governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko.
The facility will henceforth be known as the Dr. Olusegun Mimiko International Centre for Culture and Events.
Aiyedatiwa announced the decision on Saturday during a birthday celebration organised in honour of Mimiko in Abuja.
Mimiko, who governed Ondo State from 2009 to 2017, built the facility during his administration.
