The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A .Adeboye has declared onto the people that God said that the joy of the people is about to begin . This he said when he was preaching on the theme titled, Vessels onto Honour in this month thanks giving of the Church.
The General overseer who took his text from the book of 2nd Timothy 20: 21 that talked about the various kinds of vessels that are useful for the humanity as created by our Creator.
Adeboye who said that a man of vessels onto Honour in the hands of God are those people that God normally lay His hands upon in order for them to get their strength renewed. According to him, he said when God lay His hands on you , you get your strength renewed when He touches you.
Similarly, the man of God took us to the benefit one could derive from being a vessel onto Honour to be renewed of ones strength just as it happened to Elijah in the Holy Bible when God touched him and he had his strength doubled and he could run faster than what his speed could be before.
As a vessel onto Honour, God touches you constantly just like the normal vessels touches us whenever we are dinning in our different homes. As a child of God ,our level of rapour with Him will be on the increase side any time we make ourselves vessels onto Honour before Him.
Also, a man of vessels onto Honour in the hands of God, according to the General overseer would hear a conversation from God . He said that the types of conversation the person would hear would be the one other people don’t hear before, due to the spiritual level such people had attain in the hands of Almighty God.He supported this with the Bible reference,1st Corrithians 12:2-4.
He also said that vessels onto Honour constantly receives the breath of God. As a child of God who believes in His words, we do enjoy God’s breath often when whenever we make ourselves vessels onto Honour in HIS presence. The book of John 20:1-23 and Judges 15:14-15 established this fact .
Adeboye who said that when you are a Vessel onto Honour, God kisses you . This he quoted from the book of Number chapter 12:5-8 . That God will talk to you mouth to mouth when you are a Vessel onto Honour before him.
Meanwhile, the pastor said that some things are required to be a vessel onto Honour, the person must be tough and always endure. According to him, one need to sacrifice alot and cultivate the habit of endurance as the tough is getting tougher along the line. He referred us to the book of 1st Corrithians 9:24-27 and 2nd Corrithians 11:23-23 . When Apostle Paul talked about endurance and fasting as some characteristics of achieving our divine benefits from God.
He also talked about the total submission to the Authorities of God and take the yoke of God upon us whenever we want to be vessels onto Honour. According to him, total submission to the will of God in all ramifications before complaints are the only requirement one need most at time in achieving our vessels onto Honour in the hands of God. He supported this with the reference from the Bible, Jeremiah 18 vs 1-6 and Matthew 11 vs 18-30 , that a man need to take the yoke of God upon him if he wants to become a vessels onto Honour in the hands of God.
