The management have asked the students to resume back to the school on the 7th of January before this latest development occurs. The statement read part:

POSTPONMENT OF THE RESUMPTION DATE OF FGGC AKURE

Distinguished Parents/Guardians, happy and prosperous 2024 to you all.

Please be informed that the date of resumption for all our students (JS1 to SS3) earlier scheduled for Sunday, 7th of January, 2024 has been unavoidably postponed to Saturday, 13th of January, 2024. An approval to this effect was just received from the Federal Ministry Education, Abuja.

Kindly take notice that this postponment is occasioned by the renovation of two of our hostels currently going on. The contractor had promised that the renovation would be completed in 4 weeks covering the week of vacation till next week. In the same vein, It must be noted that the renovation work cannot be done while the students are in school.

Consequently, we want to implore you, our esteemed Parents and Guardians to kindly bear with us as the renovation work is in the best interest of our Angels and, indeed, all of us.

Thank you most sincerely for your understanding and usual cooperation.

Signed
Mgmt.
FGGC, Akure
